The North Dakota Petroleum Council is a trade association that represents more than 160 companies involved in all aspects of the oil and gas industry including oil and gas production, refining, pipeline, transportation, mineral leasing, consulting, legal work, and oil field service activities in North Dakota, South Dakota, and the Rocky Mountain Region. Petroleum Council members produced 75% of the nearly 45 million barrels of oil produced in North Dakota in 2007.
The Petroleum Council will hold its 28th Annual Meeting on September 16 –18, 2008 at the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck.
The meeting begins on the 16th with open golf and a reception at the Bistro.
The golf tournament, Heritage Center luncheon and history exhibition, sporting clays, and Hall of Fame banquet will be held September 17th.
