Bakken Rocks CookFest

The NDPC will host its 5th Annual Bakken Rocks! CookFest on July 16th in Powers Lake, ND and July 18th in Parshall, ND. CookFest is a community outreach event that is held in two communities impacted by oil and gas development and is an opportunity for the industry to give back while residents learn more about the industry and the companies operating in their area. CookFest includes a Bakken Basics Education session from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and live entertainment and BBQ served by industry CookTeams begins at 5:00 p.m

What does being in a Cook Team entail?

Cook Teams are responsible for purchasing, preparing and serving food. This includes providing your own:

• Meat/grill items

• Side dishes

• Beverages

• Plates, napkings, utensils

• Grilling equipment and tables and chairs for grillers

• Any company items you wish to give out.

How to participate

Teams must be comprised of one operator, pipeline company or gas processor and one or more oil service companies. All participants must be North Dakota Petroleum Council members.  Companies are responsible for assembling their own teams. To register, simply contact Tessa Sandstrom at tsandstrom@ndoil.org or 701-557-7744 with your team members and point of contact information for planning.
