Each year the NDPC looks forward to festive and fun evening to celebrate the season with it’s members. We will have the NDPC Christmas Party at X-Golf Bismarck on December 2, 2025.  It is free to attend thanks to our Premier Partners, and open to all NDPC companies and their employees.

The Williston Basin Petroleum Conference is the largest conference and trade show in the nation focused on the Bakken, Three Forks, and Williston Basin. We’re excited to bring together some of the industry’s leading experts on breakthrough technologies, energy markets, the regulatory environment, and more.

The North Dakota Petroleum Foundation will host the  Birds & Birdies Event on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in Watford City, ND This event will feature a skeet shoot and golf tournament.  The Birds & Birdies Event helps support the Petroleum Foundation’s programs and missions.  More info coming in the new year! 

The Bakken Classic Fishing Derby is a charity fishing tournament held in July of each year at the Four Bears Casino Marina near New Town, ND.

The Bakken Classic is limited to 100 three-person teams. Proceeds for the tournament go toward conservation and outdoor heritage projects.

The Bakken Rocks CookFest will be in Powers Lake, North Dakota in 2026.  It offers residents the opportunity to get out and learn more about the oil and gas industry, hear from industry experts, meet the employees of companies working in their area, and best of all, eat some of the best BBQ available in western North Dakota. With games and activities for kids, swag and giveaways, and live music, this free event is fun for the whole family.

The ND Oil PAC Golf Tournament raises money for the ND Oil Political Action Committee, which supports candidates who have a strong record in supporting oil and gas development in the state; advances legislation that encourages energy development; helps maintain a business-friendly environment, or opposes an incumbent or candidate who is hostile to our industry.

The NDPC Annual Meeting brings together more than 400 industry professionals to network with the Bakken’s foremost industry leaders and learn about the latest trends in oil and gas development. The NDPC also hosts its Industry Awards Luncheon and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
